It was inspired by Currens epic session at Bawa. All the elements enable the board to be really short and hold deep in the barrel. The wide point, foil and fins are pushed forward but the nose is pulled in. The surfers stance can be moved forward as well so the whole rail line clings up on the face of the wave giving control and generating speed. The extra tail rocker behind the wing helps to hold on to the curve and makes the board quick and responsive on turns. Heaps of drive. Its a perfect board for a wave like Macaronis, but Curren could probably ride it on a 12 foot day at Bawa though.
I have also adapted it to perform on beach breaks by bringing the wide point and foil back towards the center and specially by changing the bottom countour and fins set up. It works as a high performance board with a fish feeling that shows its best on pocket turns and hollower waves.
Size recommended: 5’6 to 6’1
Ikan means fish in indonesian. This board is meant to be a fish for perfect waves, it was designed to adapt elements of a high performance fish to quality reef break surf. The quad fin set up allows shorter boards to hold the line in powerfull waves and tuberiding. The wing pulls the tail in for control and the bottom countour blends a reverse vee to single concave fading back to vee at the tail. Paddles great, fires down the line and accelerates through turns and carves.
I have also adapted the design to perform in beach breaks by using a full single concave bottom, wider outline and 5 plugs, and it ended up being a versatile board that glides really well through flat sections on weeker surf but
still hold bigger waves.
Size recommended: 5’7 to 6’0
Slightly shorter and wider then a regular short board with a flat deck and boxy rails. Goes quick from rail to rail but glides a bit better then a high performance board. Drive, speed and release. Five plugs.
Size recommended: 5’7 to 6’0
My version to the classic Skip Frye fish. Free flow. Perfect for long point breaks.
Size recommended: 5’4 to 5’7
Classic single fin with six deep channels. Maximum down the line speed. JBay in mind.
Size recommended: 6’2 to 6’8
Designed for a surfer looking for a smoth line. It draws clean arcs without breaking the line much.Great board for an experienced surfers who no longer have the flexibility of a 17 year old.
Thruster.
Size recomended: 5’9 to 6’3
Excelent option for the begginer in transition from the fun board to the short board. A lot of volume can be applyed to a much shorter board. Paddles great and has a lot of stability.
Size recommended: 6’2 to 6’6
Really versatile board that glides as a fish but goes vertical as a high performance short board. Gives a different flavour to the everyday beach break surf. Short and wide as a fish with a full single to double concave and
modern rails. The double wing pulls the tail in for control. Diamond or rounded tail. Five plugs.
Size recommended: 5’4 to 5’8
No U Turn. No turns involved on this one. This is all about paddling better then ever, bottom turning in the crytical, hooking of the bottom and holding the line deep in the barrel. The board has got massive volume up front, Gerry Lopez style, but the secret lies on the bottom contour, that blends a reverse vee, a hidro hull and a slight bonzer concave. Big center fin and two stabilizers.
Rides smoth in the barrel, slows down easily at the base of the wave while holds and projects on a higher line. It was designed having waves like HTs or Ebay in mind. Perfect predictable take off setting up to a well drawn bottom turn that leads to an endless racing barrel. I have also made a quad version.
Narrower up front, not so much volume and a reverse vee bottom to single concave.
Size recommended: 6’0 to 6’5
Extraordinary paddling, sensibility on the rails to hold into the curl in heavy talkeoffs already inside the tube, stability to hold the line and extra strong glassing.
That’s all that has to be said about this type o board.
Leave the rest to the Cabron up there riding it!
Short and straight.
Size recommended: 7’6 up
The Barracuda Board is the classic semi gun. For long tuberoides form 3 to 8 feet there’s nothing more functional. Round pin tail or baby swallow, natural rocker, volume and wide point a little forward from the reverse vee to the double concave.
The main function of the board it’s not to create its own speed but to control the energy of the wave inside the tube.
Essential to have least two in any quiver made to Indonesia.
Size recommended: 6’2 and 6’8.
Available in Quad or Tri fin.
Fast Forward. The Indigo line has more rocker and less volume than the classic FF. Great for the good days on quality beach breaks or point breaks.
A board made to surf lined up waves that mix barrel sections and walls that call for powerful turns.
Size recommended: 6’0 to 6’5.
Fins: Quad or tri fin.
Channel designs inspired on Allan Byrnes leggacy applyed into Mosai s tuberiding models. We have tested and absolutelly aproved it on the Barracuda and the Fast Forward in 2013 and i am writing this on the plane to indo with a new quiver including channel models of the Elegante and the Indigo to try out. They look good, thats for sure.
Speed and projection. Surf without breaking the line, fast, down the line, tube.
The design brings the main fundaments of the traditional semi gun but has something of a classic board that gives it a little more speed and stability but makes it a bit more stiff…
Focus in the tuberiding
Size recommended: 6’1 to 6’6
Fins: Quad or Tri fin.
The Revolver rescues classic findamentals that ally the gun’s paddling to the agility of a semi-gun. Low entry rocker and the forwarded wide point alloos the board to have a lot of volume from the middle to the front while the the tail and raios maintain the necessary sensibility to fit in the curve inside the tube.
The bigger central fin works sort of like a rudder which makes rail to raio to be light and quico. The concaves and stabilizers guarantee drive and projection.
Made for tuberiding with stability and style.
Size recommended: 6’3 to 6’8.
This design was created from the mixture of a classic single fin’s nose template with a progressive fish tail, with an adaptation that mix the bonzer classic bottom contour with the modern single to double concave.
To be used between 5’6 5’9, extremely fast an holds a great, ideal for down the line surf in fast point breaks which asks for projection and speed.
It’s magic inside the tube.
Classic Stand Up Paddle board for cruising on lakes and still water.
10’’ x 33 1/2.
Perfect for everyone… Easy paddling and stability… All levels.
9’6 x 31 1/2.
Still an amazing paddle board for still water but perfect for surfers that will eventually take it out for a ride.
Not a performance board for SUP surfing but really good for learning the basics without sacrificing the paddlling stability.
